  1. DJ Que Sí, thanks for another upload, and congratulations on your first anniversary on the airwaves. Many Roots is now 9460730472580800 meters from Earth. That's 1/4 of the way to the next star!

I enjoyed the extra emphasis on Latin American music in this episode, but "Beautiful Emilie" was a highlight.

  2. Thank you, Scott. I really appreciate knowing you're out there listening, and love getting specific feedback about what you enjoy most.

I don't have a strong sense of what to make of your comment about how far the podcast is from Earth, but I do hope other ears hear it rising.

    Glad you liked Keziah...

  3. It is not the podcast, but your radio show has traveled that far. Your radio waves broadcast out of Santa Fe travel away from the Earth at the speed of light: 299,792,458 metres per second or 671 million miles per hour. After one year of traveling, your first broadcast is now 5.878625 trillion miles away from Earth (and still going). It hasn't arrived at any other stars yet, so you will have to wait a few years before there is any chance that life on other planets has enjoyed your DJing.

    1. Please let me know when it reaches other planets. I have strong faith in the galaxy's musical taste.
